John Phelps
John began his career in 1994 as a registered investment adviser, quickly building a reputation for financial acumen and strategic insight. Over the years, he held key positions at some of Wall Street’s largest firms, including Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and UBS Paine Webber, where he served as Vice President of Investments, managing over $300 million. This deep foundation in finance now informs every aspect of his work in commercial real estate, allowing him to analyze and negotiate deals with a sophisticated understanding of his clients’ business interests.
Before co-founding Phelps & Frias Commercial Realty, John honed his commercial real estate expertise at Texas’s top independent firms, The Weitzman Group and Henry S. Miller Commercial Realty.
Outside of the office, John cherishes time with his loved ones and friends, enjoying the balance of life beyond the deal.
